Katie has worked in education for over 25 years as a facilitator, teacher, tutor, leader, and educational consultant with schools working to improve their school climate. Her past work includes Vice President of the Center for School Climate and Learning, Executive Director of InspiringKids nonprofit youth leadership and philanthropy initiative, Director of Program Development for the Hulbert Outdoor Center, and Director of Education for the Aloha Foundation. 

During her years of work in the education and nonprofit sector, Katie has trained and mentored leadership teams and individuals at schools, camps, nonprofit organizations, and businesses. She has designed curricula and workshop content to train and inspire teams to tackle challenges, manage conflict, and pursue their best selves. She takes a personal leadership development approach focused on building individual strengths and growing relationships. Her workshops are engaging, interactive, and productive for emerging leaders as well as experienced leaders.
